Answer: Think of this as your "wildcard"! A custom arrangement allows you to request one special song that isn't already in our repertoire. While we can adapt almost any song for our instruments, we’ll just take a quick look at the piece first to ensure it will sound absolutely beautiful for our violin and cello duo.
Logistics:

Answer: Yes! Every booking includes our own AV support at no extra cost. We provide a small, battery-operated speaker to give our instruments a subtle lift. It’s designed to give the music extra presence and clarity without being overpowering.

Answer: We keep things simple! We just need two armless chairs and a flat surface to perform. For outdoor events, we require a shaded, dry area to protect our instruments from direct sun or rain. Since cold can affect the instruments, we're unable to perform in temperatures below 15°C. If you’re unsure about your layout, we’re happy to help you find the perfect spot!

Pricing & Payment:

Answer: Our packages typically range from $1400 to $2100, depending on how much of your day you’d like us to play for. Answer: When multiple locations are involved, we factor in a modest fee for the extra travel and setup required. This ensures we have enough time to tear down, relocate, and sound-check at the secondary spot.

Answer: We aim for our packages to be as all-inclusive as possible! The only time you might see additional fees is for specific requests outside our standard scope. This includes things like:
Travel: Our packages cover the Quinte, PEC, and Northumberland regions. Travel beyond these areas will incur a modest mileage fee.
Multiple Locations: If we need to pack up and move equipment to a secondary venue (e.g., moving from a ceremony site to a separate cocktail location).
Extra Performance Sets: If you’d like us to play longer than the timeframe in your initial booking.
Additional Custom Songs: If you have more than one song request not currently in our repertoire.

Answer: To make things as smooth as possible, our payment process is split into two steps:
Deposit: Once you're ready to book, we’ll send an invoice for a 25% deposit (calculated prior to HST) to secure your date. This can be paid by e-transfer or credit card.
Final Balance: The remaining balance is due on the day of your wedding. Pro-Tip: Most of our couples prefer to schedule their final e-transfer in advance. This way, it’s one less thing to think about on your special day, and you can focus entirely on celebrating!
